COVID FAQ’s
What is required to gain entry into ExCel?
You may be asked to show proof of double vaccination, Covid-19 antibodies or negative lateral flow test (within the last 48 hours) to gain entry. Please note, UK-based visitors can use their NHS Covid Pass, and international visitors, the equivalent from their country of origin.
How will ExCel manage ventilation?
Ventilation will be increased, improving fresh air circulation in line with latest CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) guidance and recommendations.

What is ExCel cleaning regime?
The ExCeL Cleaning Team have been trained to deliver new cleaning procedures. This includes ensuring all touch points, as well as seating in conference and meeting areas, are regularly wiped with chlorine-based cleaning fluid. All bathrooms will be allocated to a specific event and checked and maintained by a dedicated team of cleaners. Specific waste management procedures are in place to manage the safe disposal of PPE and testing materials.
How will catering operate?
Hospitality, stand catering and retail services will be provided in line with latest government guidance, working closely with ExCeL London Hospitality and the boulevard retailers. All transactions for food and beverage will be cashless.
Will ExCel provide sanitiser stations?
Hand sanitisers will be provided throughout the public areas of the venue.
Will ExCel be temperature checking?
At this time, ExCeL and Intelligent Health UK do not intend to introduce temperature checking.
Will ExCel have additional stewards?
There will be additional stewards on the boulevard to offer assistance and help with any questions and wayfinding.
Can you guarantee my safety at the show?
No environment away from your home can ever be 100% safe. We are putting in place a comprehensive range of enhanced safety measures that make the health and safety of everyone who attends our summit an absolute priority. Through measures such as enhanced deep cleaning before, during and after events, non-contact registration, distancing and crowd management, and the deployment of screening and protective equipment, we are striving to provide the highest standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness. All the while still ensuring that our clients, partners and colleagues can access the connections, conversations and ideas that they need.
